*Access to Sea Scouts & Animal Data Sort Sea Scouts Database & Animal Data Sort are Google Sheets files. They needs to be accessed through google. You can’t download it as an excel spreadsheet as the SQL query tool is not the same in Excel. If you are not a Google school then creating a free personal gmail account, logging on with that account will allow you to copy this file. Create a folder inside the free drive tool that comes with your gmail account. Share the folder with everyone giving edit rights and move your copy of the file inside that folder. Duplicate the file 15 or 16 times if you are working in pairs or double that if working individually, rename the files with a number to start 1 Animal Data Sort 2 Animal Data Sort etc. Copy the link to the folder and share it with your pupils. They will need to open their own file 1, 2, 3 etc or other pupils will overwrite their work. They do NOT need to logon to your google account or anyone else’s Google account to make this work. When pupils have finished use file version history to restore the google sheet back to its original state for the next class. |
Limitations of use These notes, the slides, activity sheets, marksheets & Google Sheets Data are provided free of charge by Phil Bagge & HIAS (Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service) You are free to make as many copies as you wish and modify them as much as you want within your school. You are restricted from publishing them or any derivatives anywhere available to anyone outside your school. **The exception is the animals database called Animals Data Sort which is derived from the freely available animals spreadsheet created by BBarbeito and published on the Reddit Planet Zoo Forum. You can download the original here. https://www.reddit.com/r/PlanetZoo/comments/gkzs2d/updated_the_animal_data_spreadsheet_with_a/ The original author BBarbeito would only like their work to be used in a not for profit way. As my animal database was created from this data you are free to use my derivative version Animals Data Sort in any way that you like as long as you are not profiting from it financially. |
