Y7 Gold

Rationale
Most secondary schools take pupils from various schools with varying programming experience. This module starts with an online assessment of programming knowledge. This can then assess pupils’ gaps and direct them to modules to plug them.

Modules
Each module starts with a concept video and linked quick quiz that can be completed in the pupils’ books or chosen learning platform. Pupils can then be directed to complete a short PRIMM project that focuses on the concept explained. If others have the same knowledge gap, this can be completed independently or with a partner. There is also an additional walkthrough video that pupils can refer to if needed.

Terms and Conditions
All the materials in this module can be freely adapted and used in your school. The only restriction is that any derivatives or copies cannot be published outside your school without my permission.

Scratch
Scratch is the most used primary programming language and is easily accessible.
